Jay’s or J’s is a super hollow, fast barrelling, right-hander. It works best between the chest hight to double overhead on a high tide. Suits regular-foots as it’s fast and requires you to pull in. When it’s on its one of the fastest right-handers in Fiji. Finding the take-off spot is key to surfing this place. Too deep and you’ll be doing the wash around. Nail it and the barrels will become more and more makeable. Get shallow on low tide. Like most waves in the region, Jay’s breaks over a coral reef.
