Located in Kadavu Passage, Fiji, Maqai is an excellent right hand reef set up that offers up a long barreling ride when the conditions line up. This is one of the better waves in the area, and it has a few different moods. Besides barreling, it can offer up long canvasses for performance surfing and cruising. Wash through can happen but the water is deep enough for you not to touch the bottom. It can handle pretty much any size.
