The Sri Noa Noa is a classic schooner designed for small groups with a maximum of 6 guests. The teak & ironwood construction, twin masted schooner was built in Benoa in 1977 by ex-Americas Cup sailor Philippe Petiniaud. The local-style design (straight keel and shallow draft) allows the vessel to enter lagoons and other shallow and protected areas. On-board equipment available for your use includes a full range of snorkeling and fishing gear, CD, IPod, cassette, radio, nice selection of music and books, and an acoustic guitar to boot.
Normally leaving out of Bali, the Sri Noa Noa cruises East Indonesia to search for waves off the islands of Nusa Lembongan, Lombok, Sumbawa, Sumba, Sawu & Roti. On the menu of surf spots are some famous spots including Desert Point, Scar Reef, Super Suck, Yo-Yo’s, T-land at Roti, and other secluded spots not frequented by the masses. The runabout, a 14ft (4.5m) Aluminium dinghy with 15hp outboard. Yosi, the deckhand, will drop you practically on the shoulder letting you paddle onto the peak to score your perfect ride.
Captain Heri is qualified with 10 years experience operating the Sri Noa Noa between Bali & Timor. The waters in this region are his backyard. He knows all the tide, wind and swell conditions for all surf spots, guaranteeing you the best waves.
