Located in Lombok, Indonesia, Desert Point is the ultimate left hand reef break. Many categorize this as the best wave in Indonesia when it breaks. The wave starts working only on massive groundswells when it starts pumping out ultra long and fast barrels. On top of the perfection, this break demands respect. The coral reef below is notorious for ripping into anyone that touches it, and it’s so shallow its almost a guarantee on wipeouts. The waves break for up to 300 meters when on.
