Gets good between waist high and overhead. We recommend riding your longboard or standard shortboard here. Avalon Point is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers due to the rocky bottom. The surf here usually has a wave (5/10) but can get busy on weekends (5/10). The best winds for Avalon Point are Southeast. The best swell direction is from the Southwest and breaks on all tides.
