Another section of Thirteenth Beach off the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Clubbies is a somewhat decent section of the beach with a sandy bottom. Named for the Surf Life Saving Club (Creative I know) that sits on the sand in front of the spot, the waves here are pretty easy to surf and can break for up to 50 meters, providing the usual beach break experience.
Gets good between wast high to overhead. We recommend riding your longboard or standard shortboard if the size picks up. Clubbies can accommodate any skill level depending on the bars and conditions.
