More on Granites (Granite Bay)

Walk for 30 minutes passing Johnsons, Boiling Pot and Tea Tree, you’ll find Granites. The most exposed point in Noosa, harnessing most of the incoming swell from a Southeast to Easterly direction. Usually the biggest and most exposed option. Granites is usually less busy than the other points in the area. On its day it can break all the way through from the point to the beach.

Best on the mid-tide, with 4-6 feet of cyclone swell from East, watch out for rocks. The take-off out the back is sure to give its fair share of thrills! Take enough water and sunscreen with you to avoid dehydration and sunburn.
