Located in the Lisbon area of Portugal, Estoril is a fun right-hand reef break that offers up sections and performance-based walls. The waves here can be tricky to surf and break for up to 100 meters over a rock and sand bottom. Watch out for badly polluted water, but the crowds stay away.
What are the best surf conditions for Estoril?
Gets good between waist-high and double overhead. We recommend riding a longboard here if smaller and a shortboard when the size picks up. This break is suitable for all levels of surfer. The surf here is pretty consistent (6/10) and gets a little bit busy at times (5/10). The best winds are from the Northeast. The best swells are from the Northwest, Southwest, South, and West. Works on all tides.
